Older properties often hide surprises behind the plaster. We allow for this when we plan the job and we talk to you about what we find, with photos, before any decisions are made.
We coordinate the electricians, plumbers and other trades, so you are not chasing five different people. Gas and electrical work is done by suitably registered tradespeople.

Renovations: your questions
Do I need to move out during a renovation?
Sometimes, but not always. For a kitchen or bathroom you can usually stay. For a full refurbishment it is often easier to be out. We will give you an honest view when we see the house.
Can you take down a wall between two rooms?
In most cases, yes. If the wall is holding up the house above, we will need a steel beam and an engineer’s calculations, and the work needs building regulations sign-off.
What happens if you find a problem once work has started?
We stop, show you, and explain the options and the cost. Nothing extra goes ahead without your agreement.
